BTA academies are designed to be as inclusive as possible. The downstairs academies at Belrose are wheelchair-accessible. Similarly, our Mona Vale academy is wheelchair-accessible and features an internal elevator from the parking lot.

Q: How do I know which BTA academy is right for my child? A: Choose the academy closest to home or school, most families pick one that fits naturally into the school run. All five academies offer the same one-on-one Maths and English tutoring for Years 3-12. If you are unsure, contact us and a Student Success Manager will help you find the best fit.
Q: Can my child attend more than one BTA academy? A: Yes. Some students split lessons across academies, for example, attending Belrose on Mondays and Forestville on Thursdays. Our Operations team manages this seamlessly, and all progress notes travel with your child regardless of which academy they attend.
Q: Do all five BTA academies offer the same subjects and year levels? A: Yes. Every BTA academy provides one-on-one tutoring in Maths and English for Years 3-12, including HSC preparation and Selective School Test coaching. Specialist support for neurodiverse learners; ADHD, dyslexia, and ASD is available at all locations.
Q: Can we switch academies if our circumstances change? A: Absolutely. Families move between academies regularly. Whether you have moved house, changed schools, or simply want a different location. Let your Student Success Manager know and the transfer is arranged within a few days, with no disruption to your child's lessons.
Q: What times are BTA lessons available? A: All BTA academies run after-school sessions on weekdays, with Saturday lessons available across most locations. Lesson times are flexible and can be arranged around school timetables, sport, and family schedules. Contact us to check current availability.
Q: How do I enrol at a BTA academy? A: Complete our enquiry form below or call us on 1800 002 085 to enquire. A Student Success Manager will discuss your child's needs and match them with the right tutor. There are no lock-in contracts; you can pause or stop at any time.
Q: Do all BTA campuses have access to the same tutors? A: Each campus has its own dedicated team of tutors, matched to students based on year level, subject, and learning style. If a particular expertise is needed, BTA can also arrange online sessions to connect your child with the best available match across the network.
Q: What if there is no BTA academy near me? A: BTA also offers fully online tutoring via Microsoft Teams and in-home tutoring where a qualified tutor travels to your address (within our travel radius). Both options deliver the same one-on-one experience as in-centre lessons, with no additional cost for online sessions.
Q: How much does BTA tutoring cost? A: BTA tutoring starts from $95/hr for primary students (Years 3-6) with a Tier 1 Professional Tutor, $102/hr for Years 7-10, and $115/hr for Years 11-12. Tier 2 Specialist Tutors start from $121/hr and Tier 3 Expert Tutors from $136/hr. Rates are identical across all five BTA academies.
Q: Does BTA offer any discounts for booking multiple lessons? A: Yes. BTA offers package deals in 10, 20, and 50-hour blocks, with a discount applied to the total cost. Packages are available across all tutor tiers and year levels and are a popular choice for families planning regular weekly tutoring throughout the school year.
