BTA's February Frenzy Sale
Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the February Frenzy Sale offered by Better Tuition Academy (“BTA”).
By purchasing a lesson package under the February Frenzy Sale (Feb Frenzy), customers agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below.
1. Promotion Overview
The February Frenzy Sale is a limited-time promotion that allows customers to purchase lesson packages and receive bonus lessons and Results & Rewards Giveaway entries as promotional benefits.
The promotion runs from 1 February 2026 to 28 February 2026, unless withdrawn earlier at BTA’s discretion.
2. Eligible Packages
The following lesson packages are eligible under the February Frenzy Sale:
-
25 lesson package with bonus lessons
-
50 lesson package with bonus lessons
-
100 lesson package with bonus lessons
The number of bonus lessons and giveaway entries varies by package and is communicated at the time of purchase.
3. Pricing
-
Lesson packages are charged at the customer’s current or agreed hourly lesson rate.
-
There are no discounts applied to the hourly lesson rate as part of this promotion.
-
The value of the February Frenzy Sale is provided solely through bonus lessons, not reduced pricing.
4. Bonus Lessons
Bonus lessons:
-
Are added to the customer’s account at the time of purchase and are visible in the customer’s Teachworks account
-
Have no cash value
-
Are non-transferable and cannot be substituted
-
Must be used by the student linked to the package
-
Are always used after all paid lesson credits have been exhausted
Bonus lessons cannot be used first.
5. Lesson Usage Order
Lessons are applied in the following order:
-
Paid lessons
-
Bonus lessons
Once all paid lessons have been used, bonus lessons will automatically begin to be applied.
6. Invoicing Presentation
For administrative and accounting purposes:
-
Invoices may display the total number of lessons, including bonus lessons
-
Invoices may show an averaged per-lesson rate calculated across the total lessons displayed
This invoice presentation is for display purposes only and does not change:
-
The classification of paid versus bonus lessons
-
The value of paid lessons
-
How refunds are calculated
Where invoices display bonus lessons as part of the total lesson count, this does not affect the refundability or value of paid lessons.
Refunds are governed strictly by Section 7 of these Terms and Conditions, regardless of how lessons appear on an invoice.
7. Refunds
Refunds may be requested at any time for unused paid lessons only, subject to the following conditions:
-
Refunds are calculated only on paid lessons, at the original paid hourly lesson rate
-
Bonus lessons are excluded from all refund calculations
-
Bonus lessons are not refundable under any circumstances
If a customer has begun using bonus lessons, this indicates that all paid lessons have been used and no refund will be available.
Refunds are assessed per package, not across combined lesson balances.
8. Refund Examples (Including Invoice Presentation)
The examples below are provided to clearly explain how refunds work under the February Frenzy Sale, including situations where invoices display bonus lessons as part of the total lesson count.
Example 1: Refund requested before bonus lessons are used
-
A customer purchases a February Frenzy 50 lesson package
-
The customer pays $4,500
-
The invoice displays 55 lessons for $4,500
(This includes 50 paid lessons and 5 bonus lessons)
-
The invoice therefore shows an averaged lesson rate for display purposes only
The customer uses 30 lessons and then requests a refund.
Refund assessment:
-
Of the 55 lessons shown on the invoice:
-
30 lessons are paid lessons already used
-
20 paid lessons remain unused
-
5 lessons are bonus lessons with no cash value
Refund calculation:
20 unused paid lessons × the original paid hourly lesson rate = refund issued
Bonus lessons are excluded from the refund calculation.
Example 2: Refund requested after bonus lessons begin
-
A customer purchases a February Frenzy package
-
The invoice displays total lessons including bonus lessons
-
The customer uses all paid lessons and then begins using bonus lessons
-
A refund is requested at this point
Outcome:
All paid lessons have been used. Bonus lessons have no cash value.
No refund is available, regardless of how lessons are displayed on the invoice.
Example 3: Multiple packages
-
A customer purchases multiple February Frenzy packages
-
Refunds are assessed per package, not across the total balance
If one package is refunded:
-
Bonus lessons linked to that package are removed
-
Giveaway entries linked to that package are removed
-
Other packages remain unaffected
9. Effect of Refunds on Promotional Benefits
If a refund is issued (partial or full):
-
Any unused bonus lessons linked to the refunded package will be removed
-
All Results & Rewards Giveaway entries earned from that package will be fully removed
Refunding a package voids all promotional benefits associated with that package.
10. Package Rules
-
Lesson packages are per student and cannot be shared
-
Customers may purchase multiple packages
-
Packages may be combined with existing lesson balances
-
Lesson packages do not expire month-to-month or year-to-year
11. Results & Rewards Giveaway
Entries into the Results & Rewards Giveaway are provided as a promotional benefit only.
-
Giveaway entries have no cash value
-
Giveaway entries are non-transferable
-
Giveaway entries are void if the associated package is refunded
Full giveaway terms and conditions are available on the BTA website.
12. Misuse and Withdrawal
Better Tuition Academy reserves the right to:
-
Withdraw or amend the February Frenzy Sale at any time
-
Remove bonus lessons or giveaway entries in cases of misuse
-
Decline or reverse promotional benefits where these Terms and Conditions are not met
13. General
Better Tuition Academy may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued participation in the February Frenzy Sale constitutes acceptance of the current version.
Final reassurance
These terms and conditions explicitly overrides invoice presentation and averaged lesson rates. Refunds are calculated only on paid lessons, regardless of how lessons appear on invoices. This is intentional and binding.
